🥦 In collaboration with the environmental department of the Canton of Thurgau, 16 municipalities have been trained to use Pollenn®, the geomatic SaaS for citizen science developed by In-Finitude AG, to tackle invasive alien plants. As part of the canton’s biodiversity strategy, this training empowers municipalities with the tools and support needed to effectively and collaboratively eliminate these species in the field.

🌟 This training day also marked an important first for us : our first direct encounter with municipalities, offering them a hands-on overview of the platform through a dedicated test interface. This allowed participants to familiarise themselves with Pollenn®’s features in a guided environment before deploying it in real field conditions.

📈 One of the key takeaways of this session was the potential for coordinated work across field stakeholders. By sharing data, observations and intervention efforts on a single platform, municipalities can significantly reduce operational costs while maximising the impact of their actions on the ground. Collaboration is not just an added value, it is a strategic lever for more efficient and sustainable invasive species management.
